Happy Labor Day Weekend

Just taking time out to wish everyone a wonderful weekend. Well, it's almost over, but hope you either had, or willl have something today or tomorrow to be with family, friends, or both!  We will be having Craig and Lake over later for a bite to eat off the grill.

Has been a busy weekend for me. No pictures to share. Haven't even had time to take the pic's from the last 2 hook-ins off the camera. I know, I know, lazy, lazy.   Friday I assembled the black pumpkin that I hooked into some wool on Thursday at the hook in. Made it into a pillow. Then made another applique pillow of a cat face by Need'l love Patterns. Next was a pumpkin applique pillow that I made up, nothing fancy, but I think it turned out alright.  Before the night was over on Saturday, I finished those items, a white wool stuffed pumpkin, and 6 hooked ornaments. All of these are to be added to what I had already for Colonial Day coming up on the 11th. If you are out this way, I hope you stop by.  It's a wonderful atmosphere with lots of vendors. And the 10 day forecast looks like it is going to beautiful weather!!
I promise to take pic's to share what I have been doing. Just not in the same area with the camera. I'm upstairs in my wool room.  And oh boy, can you say disaster lol?  Even my husband laughed at me last night on his way to bed. I was on the floor. Didn't even have room on the chair that I normally sit in, and I have 2 chairs in here lol.  Somehow I always end up on the floor.  He even stubbed his toe on the way out on something. Couldn't help but giggle :).

So today I have been thinking of what else I could make up.  Have some ideas, but need to be realistic with time allowed.  As you can see, I'm procrastinating by taking the time to post here lol. But that's what happens when I can't decide.   I still need to attach my stuffed turkey's to their bobbin. The turkey pattern is desined by Cathy Meyer.

Ok, better get back to it! I hope you are all outside enjoying this beautiful weather!!
